An event on the topic of “Fighting Corruption and Principles of Transparent Management” was held at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Employees of the Ministry’s Internal Control and Audit Sector, Ayyubzade Eyyub, Rashad Rzayev and Araz Khalilov, made speeches and stated that the fight against corruption is not limited to taking measures only in relation to detected violations of the law. It was noted that one of the main directions in this area is the early identification of corruption risks, the elimination of factors that lead to the emergence of these risks, and the formation of a transparent management environment.

The speeches emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency in financial and procurement processes, improving internal control mechanisms, as well as increasing the legal and ethical knowledge of civil servants.

At the event, it was noted that adherence to the principles of ethical behavior in the civil service is of great importance in preventing corruption. It was stated that civil servants should be guided by the principles of legality, objectivity, impartiality, responsibility and honesty in their activities, should not allow conflicts of interest and should not use official information for personal gain.

Finally, an exchange of views was held on the effective organization of the fight against corruption, ensuring transparency and accountability, as well as strengthening ethical principles in public administration.
