An event was held on the theme "Digital Education in the Mother Tongue"

On July 30, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held an event on the theme of “Digital Education in the Native Language” dedicated to August 1 - Azerbaijani Alphabet and Azerbaijani Language Day.

The purpose of the event was to present the publication of textbooks prepared in the Azerbaijani language in the field of information technologies, increase the accessibility of digital educational resources in the native language, and inform the public about the work done in this direction.

First, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition consisting of textbooks, educational programs and educational materials prepared in the Azerbaijani language used in the education sector. Then, information was provided about the purpose of the event and the importance of preparing digital educational resources in the native language.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Acting Minister Azer Mammadrahimov emphasized the strategic importance of preparing modern educational materials on information technologies in the native language in the digital era. He noted that the preparation of quality educational resources in the Azerbaijani language makes a significant contribution to the development of knowledge and skills of young people in the field of modern technologies, the enrichment of national educational resources and the increase of digital literacy.

 

The Deputy Minister said that consistent work is being carried out to bring the training programs and certification system into line with international standards. For this purpose, cooperation with relevant institutions is being continued to ensure the international recognition of the certificates presented.

 

Then, Huseyn Askerli, Director of the Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunications Center LLC, made a presentation on the projects implemented in the direction of digital education in the native language and the electronic learning system developed by the Society.

The presentation noted that the electronic learning system, prepared in accordance with modern requirements, is an 18-module digital solution that combines educational and management processes on a single platform, and allows for the registration of students, the preparation of electronic contracts, the formation of educational groups, the compilation of orders, the planning of lesson schedules, the monitoring of attendance and assessment, as well as the preparation of reports electronically. The platform serves to organize the educational process more efficiently, transparently and effectively.

At the event, employees of the Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunications Center LLC Agha Rzabayli and Hasan Jafarov, as well as a participant in the training program Nazrin Alakbarli, spoke and provided information about modern Azerbaijani-language textbooks prepared in accordance with international experience in the field of information technologies.

 

It was noted that currently, textbooks covering 13 areas - Windows, Microsoft Office programs, IT Helpdesk, Robotics and Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, System Administration, Computer Networks, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, SMM and AutoCAD - have been prepared and put into use. These materials, which include practical tasks in addition to theoretical knowledge, will make a significant contribution to the formation of a digital educational base in the Azerbaijani language, the training of local IT specialists and the strengthening of the potential of qualified personnel in the field of information technologies. The textbooks can be used in both printed and electronic formats.

A video clip reflecting the training, education and practice activities of the Center was shown within the framework of the event.

At the end, letters of appreciation were presented to employees who contributed to the preparation and publication of textbooks in the mother tongue.
